    Display mode switch for iPad

I am having some problem with the iPad's Portrait/Landscape display mode switch that is there on the top of the Volume control switch and that is performing incorrectly now. It is not able to lock the display image toward Portrait otherwise Landscape mode. This is very strange. It was working fine earlier and I have not did anything new to my computer then why this is happening to me. I am not able to get that what is the problem with this and how can it be solved? Is there anyone who can tell me that what is the fault with this and how can it be solved? Please reply as early as possible.

I would like to tell you that you cannot do that if you are having the switch as a display orientation lock and that is running the iOS which is earlier than the version of 4.2.1. They have modified there locking function for mute by this version. It is possible that you will be able to obtain the locking function once again if you jailbreak your device because, I have not found any of the settings or application that can do this. There is one other way for this. You will have to go back to the version before 4.2.1. I hope that this will help you in any manner to solve the issue.

I found that the rotate lock is now shifted. If you want to use that then you will have to Double click the exit button and after that scroll left on top of the new bottom segment and do that till you get the rotate lock button. This is the only thing that I can suggest you at the time. No its not the bad idea to try this and see if that helps you. If this seems to be helpful to you then please post back your experience so that it can help other users also who are searching for the same thing.

You can make use of the Home button that is on the bottom which you use for waking iPad up as of sleep otherwise viewing the multiple tasking and all and you will not have that problem. It is just the simple three step process that can be performed very easily. You will have to press the Home button twise and after that scroll over toward the left and you will be able to find that over there. I wish that this will help you.

I think that there is some problem with the firmware that is installed in your ipad and that is creating the problem for you. If you have doubt that this is the case for you then you can simply update the firmware for it. You should check that, what is the version of the firmware that is running in your ipad and see for the latest firmware available. If there is availability of the updated firmware then you can install that in your ipad and that will solve the problem for you. This is the best way that I can suggest you at the time. I have seen many of the cases like this where installing the latest firmware solves the problem and I with that this will do the same for you as well.
