Unable to sync new facebook friends in htc sense

I have a htc sense phone and i have the facebook application installed in it. Whenever i add a new friend in the facebook or add up some new contacts in the phone then i am unable to link them. It is giving some problem with the sync. I don't know what is the reason behind it. I have tried uninstalling the particular application and tried installing it again. So anyone of you who is facing similar problem here and would like to share something here then do let me know about it. I am waiting for your response.

Is this problem after you have uninstalled the application? Or is this problem before only. I am asking this because such type of problem can result after uninstalling the application and reinstalling it again. Well i have got a particular solution for you. What you can do is when you go to the friends list press and hold their name. Having done that a menu option will appear. You will have to select the edit contact option. Having selected that you will find the link/unlinked option. Select the unlinked option and you will be able to get the option to link the another contact with which you want to link to.

well this problem started after i syncd my facebook friends with the phone and after the sync i have added several other friends in my contacts in facebook. The newly added friends are unable to get linked. Connecting the earlier friends was not a problem, having done with the syncing of the facebook friends to my phone. After that whatever new contacts that i have added i am unable to sync them. So any solution for this problem. If you have any solution then do let me know about it.

Well i have got a particular solution for you. The suggestion is that whenever you go to the menu option of the facebook you will have to select the config option. When you have entered the option you will find another option which specifies ’synchronize contacts’. Click on that option. Under that option you will get 3 options Synchronize all, Synchronize existing contacts only, no synchronize. Of all the three option you will have to select the ‘Synchronize existing contacts only’. After that check whether everything is sorted out. So do try with this suggestion it might help.

I would advise you to install a particular application named as facebook apk. The specialty of this application is that it will ask you to sync the contacts while you sign in. so it would be better to make a fresh start. I think this suggestion is the most simplest and the better option for you. This particular application you will easily find it In any of the android websites. I would advise you to wait for some time and the facebook will automatically sync your contacts. I am saying this because me and many of my friends were having the same problem in their phones. Having tried many options did not help us much. So we decided to let it go and be happy with whatever we have. Well after some weeks i just did a simple reboot of the phone and i found out that the facebook has automatically syncd all the new contacts in my friends list. So I was quite happy about it. I think I had to wait around two weeks in order to happen this.
