HTC Desire getting affected by "Client/Server conversion error"

All was working fine with my HTC Desire laptop until yesterday when I got this error message saying that Client/Server conversion error". It was the very first instant that I used Outlook and Microsoft Exchange to sync my HTC Desire, although I was able to get It done perfectly after following the instructions, but yesterday I found out that the calendar stopped syncing with the HTC Desire laptop and I am getting this "Client/Server conversion error". So guys can some help me to know how will I be able to successfully sync the calendar with the HTC Desire laptop.

Have you checked out the applications of the Outlook like the mail and contacts whether they are getting sync with this HTC Desire laptop or not only the calendar is not getting sync with the laptop then it could a problem of your account and you will require to delete the same and reinstall it again and see if you are able to solve the problem. On the contrary if you are not able to sync any of them as well then I think that the problem will be the Outlook that is currently installed on your laptop and you will have to delete the same and carry out the installation of a brand new copy of the same software again.

I also used the same Outlook on my HTC Desire and many times I have also been faced with the same problem, While investigating about the problem I have found that some calendar entry that were of repeating entries appeared again and again in the calendar even though an entity entry have been removed from replace calendar and did not appear in outlook even when I inserted This only started after the firmware upgrade that I had done on the laptop, so if you have also done the same thing than it would be definitely the firm grade which is to be blamed.

This is what I did to solve the problem that I was having with the Microsoft Exchange on HTC Desire as well, what I did is that I eventually deleted the Exchange Activesync account that I was making use of from quite some time now. One thing that you will have to take special care of before deleting the account is that you should clear the data in the calendar if you are having them in your account. You can follow this path to do the same Menu >> Settings >> Applications >> Manage applications and from here you can delete the data. After that you will have to again add the same Exchange Activesync account and definitely your problem will be solved.
