Unable to disable autolock or adjust its period in Nokia C7

I am using the Nokia C7 mobile phone and it is being serving me the best but there are few cases where I am a bit worried about the same. Mechanically locks after 6 years without a fundamental safeguard bars IMO. The "call answer" button sometimes working hard just to reactivate the phone. The "end call" button always works, but it seems that the button is used for most functions without the use of the touch screen as on and off the phone and stop an application. Using any button to reactivate the phone number would not be a problem because the buttons do not protrude, and taking into account the frequency with which you must unlock the phone. Please help me in this case and let know how I can solve the same.
