Arabic language support for Samsung galaxy Tab

I just got one mobile phone in mind that is the Samsung galaxy tab. It is awesome I like the look and feel of this phone. It is a tablet which is fully loaded with various features like Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and GPS system. It has a powerful operating system the Android, and with which you can easily and smoothly browse the internet. I want to know if this tablet supports Arabic language and does it it have an Arabic language in the device language option.

Re: Arabic language support for Samsung galaxy Tab

I had purchased my Samsung galaxy tab when I was in Europe a month ago. When I tried to browse the internet it had some connection problems with Arabic language. As far as I know the default keyboard of Samsung does not support the input in Arabic language, and was not even included in the device. But there are some Arabic keyboards in the stores such as the Ibrahim keyboard, Dr. Ben Ox keyboard, etc but even then it is only the Ibrahim keyboard which is compatible in connecting the Arabic letters with some restrictions.

The Ibrahim keyboard is an exceptional because it has various limitations. One of them is that it is unable to connect the letters in search dialogs. More over this Ibrahim keyboard is a small keyboard which was made for smaller mobile phones like the Samsung Galaxy S and the HTC designs, etc. This keyboard does not even have the right to left switching mode. I think the Arabic language is included in Android. So you must try buying a keyboard which is comfortable with the Arabic language.

I enquired and have come to know that there is an update version for Samsung Galaxy Samsung Tab available on the internet which has full support for Arabic language. What you can do is just go to the Samsung’s Service center and you can get the update or even get it installed so that you can start text messaging in Arabic language. But I guess there are some Samsung Galaxy tabs which do not require the update. They support the Arabic language by default.

I have heard that Samsung Galaxy tab model GT-P1000 is available in the Dubai market which supports Arabic Language. This is a support which is made available in this Samsung Galaxy tab model GT-P1000 targeting the consumers in the middle east, as previously they had a problem regarding the non readable characters while viewing the content in Arabic language. The Arabic language support feature of Samsung Galaxy Tab was a feature still missing in the previous Samsung phones. So a nice step taken by Samsung to increase its sales.
