LG Optimus Wifi connection not Done properly

I have just got myself the LG Optimus and I had specifically bought it for the use of the Wi-Fi in it. I have been making the use of the Samsung mobile phones earlier but the main problem with it is that the working of the phone is not good when I use to make the Wi-Fi in it the working of the internet is not being done in it and also many of the times the connection is being lost that leads to many of the problems while I am downloading any of the items from the internet or while I am trying out to make use of any of the files through the Wi-Fi. But now the same issue is being faced by me when I have just changed my cell and have done all the best of the settings. Please help me out what is the issue that is being faced by me.
