Unable to upgrade Android 2.1 on x10 mini

Yesterday I tried doing the update of my Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 on my Sony Ericson x10 mini and found that I was unable to do so. I have searched the latest version on the internet and have successfully found but the problem is that whenever I pressed the install button the installation started but during the download of the update of the Android 2.1, the operation halts and I am, unable to go through the entire update to get the installation successful. So guys can someone help me to know how to get the update successful on my mobile.

I guess that you might not be having enough memory on your mobile phone and that is why you are not able to get the installation successful. Android 2.1 requires a bit more memory space as compared to the previous version of the operating system that is Android 1.6, so I would request you to free some memory on your phone that will help you to get the installation successful on your mobile.

I think that the upgrade to Android 2.1 requires you have the latest drives for that operating system which includes the usb as well as the graphics and with out that you will not be able to get the operating system completely installed on your mobile phone. So go to the site where you have got the updated Android 2.1 downloader program and get all those related files that are necessary to run the uploader program. I think that this will surely be able to get the installation successful.
