You will need to take all the application data back up properly and hence after reflashing you may not able to have touch screen problem. no one wants to be specific as to why they won’t just backup their contacts as well as send their phone in for a fix. is it since they contain over 50+ of their own applications installed also? I would’ve just backed up your contacts in the knowledge that I’m going to be sent back a mobile that in fact works. If you don’t desire to lose or inscribe down your installed repeatedly used programs, somebody on here might recognize of a way to back up your complete phone, but then you might end up place the screen annoyance onto a substitute new phone also (if that was offered under contract).

If you have installed load programs or the application which are unnecessary inside the mobile, even if they aren’t from the checking catalogues, one of those may have caused the screen problem to happen in the first place. if this is the case there’s forever chance that nokia might decline to replace it. I attempt not to install too many applications in order to get rid of these problems -this is still a fresh phone, and lots of programs being released are in their before time, even if they are not in the expansion/testing catalogues. There are bound to be lot of programs that may have quarrel with others or just the n900 that we just don’t know of.

You must be capable to back up your contacts effortlessly by using the software cd that comes with the Nokia N900 before reflashing your cell phone it may have cause the problem due to reflashing the application require to run the phone may have not install on your phone currently so it check it out. I don’t believe it comes with the alternative of backing up installed programs, so script down your regularly used applications might be the better choice for the mobile to run properly if it’s a genuine screen hardware trouble, sending it back might be the only thing you can do to get a fix.

The touchscreen turn out to be unresponsive particularly on the top left hand corner. I sent the handset back, they told that they had fixed it, but i believe all they did was reflash the complete mobile. So I keep the device empty (with no applications running on it) for a moment, and the trouble came back. In the end, they return the handset with a new one, and the new one has been fine ever since. Mine must contain had a corrupt screen. Thinking I would let you know what come about to me.
