Is it possible to replace Easy Debian with Android on maemo

I just thought that I have been attempting to a dual boot android with easy debian on maemo inside my Nokia N900 cell phone. Is it suitable to do this kind of stuff inside my mobile? I just thought to replace the Easy Debian with the Android for much good features which easy debian does not having when it is running on maemo but I m continuously failing all the time. Only asking as it appears feasible as they're both Linux, simple Deb works inside this environment. I think possibly Android could? So what is your suggestion guys please let know about this stuff through your thought.

It should be even simpler than that. Android applications are particularly java based application which is far more advanced in this current situation, which means most of us only require java and the right set of jars to make available the framework that android desires, transitory functions off to the Nokia n900 as desirable. There is previously a desktop-based sdk, so it might just be a subject of transforming that. Not convinced how open the resource is for that, but the android application is a restricted set of classes as well as methods that necessitate to be made available for the android.

Maemo is a type of operating system that provide the platform for the various application and software to run efficiently around its environment and generally maemo is based on Debian. so Easy Debian actually is just adding a number of tweaks to be capable to run customized Debian applications. I don't know about Android though. But no android will work efficiently inside the maemo environment and particular with the debain, Android doesn't exercise X11 or any normal Linux libraries. It would necessitate a far additional general amount of work to work efficiently inside the maemo. might this information will properly to solve your problem,

The source is totally available for the maemo to work efficiently with the easy debian inside the maemo environment, but it is much additional work than you imagine. Android formulate a enormous number of supposition with regards to how the file system inside the maemo environment is laid out with the easy debian is working with the android simultaneously, so a chroot would simply be the extremely first step. After that it come graphics options whether it will suite with the maemo environment, kernel updates, as well as any additional hardware interface it assumes. If all these things works well then I think that it will work properly of your trying in your own way.

I appreciate what you mean about meamo apparent come into view unfinished. Perhaps it will produce as android has? Other than it doesn’t have the reputation so perhaps its significance sticking with android. i don’t be acquainted with particularly. Pros for maemo so distant are; that root is uncomplicated, theme installation is straightforward, backups with no inflowing recovery method hacking as well as programming appear to be more rapidly to debian. (to be truthful that doesnt consequence me as I’m not a programmer but its perceptibly going away to be useful to a lot of people)

I have no clue about Nokia but I recognize there's no big developer maintenance help. if wish is too intricate to root, why don't you think Nexus one? Besides that it's also the mobile that will obtain new OS updates previously make out upcoming Android 2.2 - and if you require a QWERTY then hang around for Nexus two. And there's moreover the QWERTY phone from Motorola (which are also having the N2) Shit! I can't consider I'm advocate Android devices. But I'm blameless. l would resembling to have the nexus one. But I m in the uk so no nexus with no paying a lot for it and it is quite possible if you are trying by your own to replace the Easy Debian with Android on maemo.
