Nokia N900 not turning ON after PR1.3

I am using this Nokia N900 phone from last few months and yesterday I noticed an Orange Icon on my phone's screen, So I started the PR1.3 updates. Some prompts and download appeared and since then my phone keeps on rebooting after each couple of minutes. First I get the normal start up screen and then "Installing of software update. Please do not interrupt" at the bottom.

Most probably your phone's firmware have got damaged due to which it is not able to boot up properly. I guess there is no other way then flashing your phone. Since your phone is not getting boot up, You cannot even check stop the updates or scan your phone. I think you should directly reset your phone without thinking about anything.

You have made a big mistake by trying to update your phone directly from the phone itself. Actually updating the phone needs an internet connection which would be enabled on your phone while updating it. But as soon as your mobile internet gets disturbed, Your updates crashes and results into partially updated device. So now your phone does not have old version nor has the new one. It has been recommended to always download the updates first on PC and then connect your phone to transfer those updates to your phone.

Before flashing the firmware of your phone I would like to tell you that you should try hard resetting your phone after which it might not show any such problem. I suggest you to pull out the battery of your phone and then keep your phone off for few minutes and then put the battery back at its place. Now try switching on your phone and see that it boots up properly or not. And it stays ON or not.
