Comix on Nokia N900 running Maemo 5

I have recently bought a new Nokia N900 and I am looking forward to install the Comix which is a Comic Book Viewer. I have used comix on my windows phone several times but I don't have any idea that will the same Comix would be able to run on this N900 as well or not as it runs Maemo 5. If not then can you guys suggest me some other comic book viewer for this phone.

I think Comix is made for Linux Maemo 5 as well so you just need to search for the perfect source from where you can download the same but make sure that it is Linux based version. I guess you should check that the one you have works on your Nokia N900 phone or not. If not then check searching the linux version of the same application.

I have no idea about the Comix but I have one similar kind of tool named as cbrpager is an easy-to-use small program with no useless features for viewing comics archives in formats CBR, CBZ and CB7. It can, GIF, JPG and PNG images represent. You can zoom in, out and adjust the size of the window. The view is one or two sides of the window opportunity. The navigation is possible with mouse and keyboard.

From earlier knowledge, cbrpager provides its purposes fairly glowing on my old N810. That cbrpager is sluggish and not incredibly surprising as it's yet only in extras-devel. Being in the extras-devel means that cbrpager is not yet ready for primetime. I expect that it will get better before it goes for extras-testing or extras proper. I am looking forward for the next version of it.

cbrPager is a no-nonsense, simple to use, small viewer for cbr and cbz (comic book archive) files. As it is written in C, the executable is small and fast. It views jpg (or jpeg), gif and png images, and you can zoom in and out.
