Which procedure you performed there exactly? Did you tried to install this software inside the boot menu and restarted the device after the installation is completed? If you did, can you have a right to use it (by pressing menu key through start up)? I had similar trouble (don't memorize exactly) when I first time tried to install Mer. I handled it to install the boot menu in the approved manner but the definite Mer installation unsuccessful. After re-install, it was happening to work very fine for me. Unfortunately I cannot keep in mind the details right away. If I get it then I will give you the reply again.

Following to the download as well as the installation you need to go to Settings then you will require to go the Application Manager then you will need to select the Utilities afterwards you will require to Browse Installable Applications then you require to choose the Other as well as system and you will locate a program "Install Bootmenu" as well as "Mer-installer". If you did not put in that by pressing "OK" previous to, do it currently. The straightforward Install will generate a boot menu entrance for you. though, for extra superior installations - eg if you previously have numerous booting Operating systems - you might desire to read about its specifications - you may require to make a .item if you contain a clone-to-SD replica of Maemo or Deblet.
