I am using iPad and recently updated with the latest firmware of the iOS. I am using USB flash card reader to download photo from my iPad. After the up grading with higher version of iOS it begun to consume very large amount of power. Now it became impossible to download media from the flash card. Any one having the same problem please let me know? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

When you upgraded your iPad with latest version of iPad number of features are being droped without informing the users. All the draped features can be described as follow. USB power is reduced. New definition of rotation lock is being introduced. Character loss is applied for the German Keyboard. All the above features are available in to the previous version of the iOS. I hope above mentioned content will help you.

Well according to my opinion iPad are never supposed to charge external devices like card reader and also it doesn't support the same. Battery life of iPad reduced if you charge the USB driver with the iPad. To overcome power loading the limit of the USB is set to 20 mA. That's why its prompting constantly. If you want to solve the problem you have to USB Power hub, USB extender cable. Connect the cable to Cam Corder Kit and hub. You have to also connect Card Reader with USB hub. I hope it will help you to solve the problem. Thanks a lot.

There are certain rules which are changed for USB memory sticks in iOS 4.2.1. There should be directory named DCIIM on the memory stick. 100LEICA or 100NIKON name sub directory should be available in to DCIM. Make sure that there should be 8 characters and. Space is not allowed into name. All the files are stored in to sub directories. Same as above there should be no space in the name and it must consist of 8 characters. I think above mention information will be useful to you. Please let me know if it helps you to fix your problem in any way.

Well according to your situation I am suggesting you to go for downgrade of the iOS if things are working properly in the older version of the iOS. You can also use Micro SD card instead of using Flash Card reader. You can download the previous version of the iOS through iTunes. Make sure that the data should be back up before you doing firmware down grade. Still the issue is not resolved you can contact various Apple contact channels to solve your issue. They are the most reliable solution for your matter. Thanking you for reading all the above content.
