Dell U2711 worth it for gaming

I have been using a desktop computer which is installed with windows 7 and even i am a gaming freak i like playing games very much. Recently i have planned to purchase a new LCD Monitors and am confused whether i should go for the Dell U2711 Monitor. Since i think its one of the best gaming laptop what are your review on this monitor. what are your views pertaining to this matter. It will be great if you can suggest another monitor
