I cannot boot my T410s with W7 using the HDD in the Ultrabay with Windows XP

Hi,

I have had my T410S with Windws 7 for 9 months and I had no problems with it.
I got a new job and my new company gave me a T410 with Windows XP.
So I bought an ultrabay in Lenovo and I pout in the XP HDD in it.
When I started the computer I pressed the ThinkVantage key and I chose the HDD to boot I get the 0xe0050018 error: A possible virus has been detected.
I tried changing the order of the HDD in BIOS, same problem, I updated the BIOS with the latest patch from Lenovo, no difference. I tried pressing repeatedely F8 during booting and then starting in safe mode without network, no difference.
I cannot put the XP HDD in the place of the W 7 HDD because their size is different.

Can anybody help me?

It can be due to the security feature enabled in the bios. Mostly bios are equipped with a security settings which you have to disable first. Now it is not possible to boot a laptop from a different hardrive. That is due to Windows configuration settings which are made when you run a fresh installation. Try to boot your system as it is and scan the hard drive for virus. You have to use Windows Bootable disc to freshly format and install Windows in that. Then only it will be recognized.
