Dell inspiron n4030 bluetooth not working

I have recently got a laptop Dell inspiron n4030. I am having some issues with the Bluetooth connectivity. Actually i am able to connect my mobile device with the laptop. Also all the devices shows the Bluetooth connectivity as on whenever I turn it on. Now the main problem lies when I try to send or receive the files from the laptop. I don’t know the main reason behind it. Also i have noticed that the sending and receiving process just stops as soon as the allow a connection option gets greyed. Just waiting for an appropriate solution from you all. Help me out from this problem.

I would first recommend you to keep the Bluetooth connectivity on. Check whether the icon is being displayed in the system tray. Ensure that the icon is present. After that check whether the particular mobile you are trying to connect is being paired properly and also with the code that is used for the pairing. Once the pairing is done properly then start with the sending and the receiving of the files. Just ensure this steps are carried out before sending and receiving of the files.

Just check whether it is there or not there in the device manager. If it is present enable it. You must update the driver by using the CD of the windows operating system. If you are using windows 7 then do update it by the windows 7 CD. After dong the update part restart the computer and look for the bluetooth icons in the display bar. Just try with the updating part it will help.

Another solution is that you can just remove the Bluetooth module from the laptop and probably replace it by the new one. If you find this time consuming then what you can do is to purchase a Bluetooth dongle. A Bluetooth dongle can probably set your Bluetooth connection problem. You just have to connect it in the usb port provided by the laptop and it will start working. The most easy and the convenient method to work. It will come with a price tag of around $6. So i think so you would prefer this option rather than going on to replace the entire Bluetooth module.

If all of the above solution does not work then do a scan of your entire laptop. There may be a possibility of the inclusion of the dangerous malware’s . They can come to your laptop if you had exchanged some files via Bluetooth also. So it is necessary to check the malware’s. Try doing this probably it will help you. If this does not work then the last option in front of you is to contact the dell technicians to solve your problem. They will probably get it done. So just try out with this solutions.

What is the make or model number of the mobile phone you have that you are trying to sync with your laptop? Normally, once you turn on bluetooth on both your laptop and mobile phone, then go to the bluetooth settings in your laptop and search in the list for the mobile phone, when you try to sync it, you will be given a choice to set a password to sync the mobile phone. Simply put 1234 in your sync option and then type the same password in the mobile phone to sync it to your laptop.
