Dell xps15: how to assign more controls in the control strip

I am working on my dell xps 15 for a quite some time. One day on working i observed that I had lost my audio control in the audio module of the control strip. I have a habit of using the audio control from the control strip. So it has just suddenly disappeared from the control. I also wanted to ask whether we can assign more functions to the 'Instant Launch control' button which is also present in the control strip. So do let me know if there is any solution for my problem.

I would suggest you to browse the net and look out for the various audio control strip module available in the internet. Like you have specified that you have lost the audio control. What you can do is to replace the audio module from the available modules in the internet. After downloading the mp3 or audio module you have to install it and then reboot the system. You will get back the audio module back in the control strip module. So carry out with this suggestion it will definitely hep you out.

I would suggest you to check the controls in the strip by pressing the shortcut keys. Press the windows button and b i.e. Windows+B. By pressing the shortcut key you will get the control to the recent module in the strip and then press the side keys in the keyboard to shift the control to the various other controls in the control strip and check if it gets the audio module for you. If that does not work then next step you can try out is to create the shortcut of the audio module in the desktop from the control panel. This will probably ease your task of getting into the control panel frequently. So do try these steps out and it will work for you.

If you need to add more functions to the 'Instant Launch control' button. Then there is a software available in the internet which will probably allow you to add more applets of the control panel without any complications. By adding that you can add more control panel applets apart from the existing one’s like add/remove hardware, display options etc. There are various applications like Control panel applet generator and control commander which will add applets without any programming. Just download it from the internet and run the application. Probably this will work for you. Just try it out.
