Conflict with SanDisk U3 Cruzer in Windows 7

Hello and good day, I have received this ScanDisk 8GB U3 Cruser only a month ago Windows7 installed and worked without problems. After some time I used it again now but the problem is that it is not working properly. Every time I use this always a window pops up with an error message and every time I plug in a device via USB or external to the computer boots up. I am having three partitions and every time I plug in the other message I get is that HDD in 3 pieces in a row. I can then easily click and get rid of this, but these things are really boring and also consume my precious time. Now I ask for help, what I need to do to get rid of this problem. I mean to say that what I should change to get rid of this problem. Other error messages that I am getting is: "Windows 7 U3 drive a drive letter assigned to that is a different drive on the computer is occupied by already or there are no available drive letters on the computer longer exists. Try all network drives that you have connected from the computer U3 and start again by LanchU3.exe or on the CD-ROM icon of the U3 icon double-click. If U3 Launch pad is running, you can network drives again follow that. If you do not have the necessary administration rights to disconnect from network drives have, please contact your system administrator. More troubleshooting tips can be found by you "fix" click. “I have done this several times, but the problem remains. Even after booting the error message appears on the desktop. When I re-install the U3 error message occurs again, but the good thing is that at that time I can then open and can work with this. If you have any solution for the problem I am having then let me know about that.

Look in Disk management over the control panel and then look under System Administration and punch the connected U3 stick and virtual CD with a new drive letter, preferably far back in the alphabet, or at least two or three letters away from your other drives. Till I have understood the problem that you are facing you are getting this is the only solution I can provide. But I am not sure that this will eradicate the problem that you are facing. You can try this and let me know the result for that. If I can provide help then I will definitely do that.

First of all thanks for your quick answer. Solution that you have provided is already done. I have already followed the steps that you are telling. I have changed the letter to x and y. After that I have rebooted the computer system, till here everything works fine but these error messages keeps coming. The problem I am facing is really big and I can write only small details related to it. Anyway thanks for helping me out and I hope that you have other clues for solving the problem that I am facing.

Possibly in the hardware manager, uninstall all USB things (to be reinstalled after rebooting) and before that I always use Drivecleanup.exe or you can use any other cleaning software application. I am saying this because I had the RemuveDrive downloaded and unpacked. See only a box with black background and knows nothing to do with it at the end of the drive description is only: Press any key to close. I have got the solution for the problem. I hope that it will solve your problem.

Re: Conflict with SanDisk U3 Cruzer in Windows 7

I am writing for my friend. He has, Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. He also has a SanDisk Cruzer Micro 16GB and I have the same, but only 8 GB. Now the problem: He has deleted this U3 software because he thought it would not work on Windows 7! The reason for this is that on my SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8 GB, it has not worked out. At my house, on my computer system, with Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit everything works, even this U3 software! Now, why this weird thing is happening? I want to know a solution for this problem. Thanks in advance for any related solution.

If the U3Software first installed and then start the Cruzer icon, is also called a table on which you can install additional software. With more launches over the Cruzer icon Panel but only the start. Do it again and I am saying this because I have tried these things myself. The Cruzer icon is remaining only in this and the previous version to come on. Or it can not be the other drives Cruzer U3 software. Furthermore, the U3 software versions also differ because of various companies on their own hardware, licenses adapted so far. For example, since Toshiba no longer has purchased licenses, the owners have now just stick the U3 software and you can get that from its official site. Summary version of the page works fine under windows 7 and you need only 2 clicks, the software is ready for use and then perform these steps: Stick plug and then Laufwerk recognized - u3 software start and then U3 system is fully operational. I hope that you have understood what I am trying to convey.
