Nokia C6-00 disable sliding lock switch

I have the Nokia C6-00 with me and I am happy to have this phone from the C series that Nokia has launched. Well all is well with this phone but I do not know why but the phone has some issue with this. I have seen that even if I lock the keys and touch screen, the lock that is on the right side does not get lock. I mean to say that the sliding right side lock switch is not getting blocked and I really want to have the explanation on this. I have seen that whenever I do this after some time it just turns my phone ON is there anything that you all can suggest me. I did not think that the phone will come with such an issue. I had upgraded the phone after two years and before that I was using the N series from the same desk but never come up with such kind of issue at that time. Please let me know what can be done with this phone. I do not want to end up with some scrap in my pocket. Please let me have some words on this.

I think that you are not properly dealing with the phone. I mean to say that you are not locking the phone clearly and hence you are getting the issue. Well try to make some more extra effort on it and see if you can get away with the issue that you are facing at this very moment. Also try to use the Auto-Lock feature of the phone and see if that can help you in some manner. Hope that you will be out of the situation in a cheap manner. Please let me know if you got of the issue.

You will be required to Slide the Right Side Lock Switch of the Nokia C6-00 so that you can lock the Mobile phone or say you can block the mobile phone. Well I think that you will have to do this neatly. Well try to do the same and see if you can get rid of the situation with which you are struck with. In addition to this entire can you please let me know when was the first time that you observed this issue with your mobile phone? Is it like that you are observing this issue with the cell phone of yours often. Please tell me about all this things and let me have a close look at the situation of yours.

I also have the same issue with the Cell phone of mine and want to know how I can get away with this. In addition to that I am happy that I am not the only one having this issue, there is already someone who has made his presence with the similar one and I expect to have the solution now and nothing more than that. I was reading this thread and have found that you have asked for the first instance or the first encounter with the issue. I had observed this when I blocked the keypad and then placed the cell phone inside my pocket. When I took it out I saw the issue there at that time. Also I have not seen the issue with this phone that often. What can be done? I have the cell phone of mine under warranty and will be happy to have some kind of solution in this respect as soon as possible.

I think that you have just mentioned the issue of yours with the solution as well. No I am not talking about the warranty period that you have with the Cell Phone. I am talking about the Phone in the pocket incident. I think that when you are placing the phone in the pocket accidentally the switch on the right side might be getting slide and hence must be reason for the issue. Another reason that makes me think the same is that you have already mentioned that the scene does not repeat that often and hence I probably think that this can be the issue here. See if I am right in mentioning it. Please make your post if that was the reason so that I can have the confirmation for this and can suggest others who are having the similar issue.

Well yes it can be the probable issue and I think that my friend has made the things pretty much clear. We have not seen your reply after the post and hence it makes me feel like that the situation is something else. Well if it is really different then I would say that there is no other way by which you can have the things in the proper manner. In such case I think that you will have to make use of the warranty period that you were talking about and I think that it will be the best one to go for. Please ask the people at the service center to look in the matter and ask them to make the replacement as soon as they can. I think that the issue after this that you will have is to wait for the replacement. If at all the issue will be a minor one then they will have hat repaired for you for free.
