Screen Brightness problem for Lenovo T400

Hello there, I have recently bought a lenovoT400 laptop. The problem which I am facing is that Lenovo ThinkPad T400 cannot change screen brightness .I hasT400 LED with Windows Vista Business SP1 installed, sometimes my laptop cannot adjust screen brightness, neither through the Fn-Keys nor via the power manager. So give me some suggestion related to problem

The issue of cannot adjust screen brightness on T400 after using stand-by mode, might happens caused of the Windows related software as many T400 users can fix it simply by reboot the machine. But before reinstall or upgrade the system, better check the computer’s power, does this issue occur when on both battery and when plugged in?
Just for notice, you be able to set the T400 screen brightness through the Power Source Optimized battery plan preference. And then try setting all dynamic brightness controls to disabled. And then after rebooting your T400 machine see at the laptop screen, are you still cannot adjust screen brightness? If it so, updates Windows Vista Business SP1 to SP2 should be resolve the issue.

Some time before even I am suffering from the same problem. I found the area to go to and adjust the monitor's brightness. I just open the QuickSet of my laptop, click the "Fn" key plus scrolled up or down on keys situated on the right side of the keyboard situated exactly below the shift key. Got the monitor's screen brightness back up to where it wanted to be which is much easier on my eyes. In this way I get solved my problem.

Hey, I cannot obtain screen brightness working on my new T400 (windows 7 64 bit). When I try to decrease or increase by keys Fn+Home/End screen's brightness does not change but brightness indicator shows up on screen. Plus as well when running on battery if I set the brightness to some value that value of brightness comes up when I connect the laptop for charging and vice-versa.
is there any another solution to do so.
