No Stereo Mix in Satellite P500-ST6822

I have recently purchased gaming laptop from Toshiba which is Satellite P500-ST6822 with Intel Core2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.20GHz) and has 18.4” HD with 2GB RAM. It has integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4000MHD and 320GB of hard drive space. I like to play games in it but recently when try to record sound while playing I noticed that it doesn’t have a stereo Mix option while recording. I was really fed up to search for this option in it, so if anyone have details regarding this option please let me know.

I think you have not tried to see the option for stereo mix in your laptop properly. Go to Control Panel there go to Hardware and Sound from there select Sound. Now move to the recording tab and there you will able to observe the stereo mix option I think that is not enabled just enable it by selecting. Choose the symbol of stereo mix and then go to properties then a new screen will pop up and when it will ask for Device usage you need to alter it to use this device. This will surely work for you go get the stereo mix option when you will record.

I am having similar problem in a Qosmio X505 laptop in which I am getting a resolution on my "stereo mix" lacking problem. If you are getting similar lacking problem then think we are facing similar roblem. I am really looking for the "stereo mix" alternative for recording. The option does not exist on my laptop and I think may not existing on other Toshiba laptops. So if you fix the problem let me provide me with the solution so that I can resolve similar problem in my laptop.

Your Satellite P500-ST6822 laptop does not support the option as stereo mix which you want to use while recoding the sound. I think you need to ask the officials from Toshiba and they will fix your problem and clear your mind about if you can have that application option in your laptop or you have to install any other application to use stereo mix while recording.
