Toshiba Qosmio X505 Q870 display issues

I have the Toshiba Qosmio X500 Q870 with me and the thing is that I have noticed some of the display issues with it. I have seen some snow like things with it and I am really worried about the display and really need to have some sort of solution for this. I have tried to have the solution from other forums but could not get any help so that I can get rid of this snow issue on the laptop. It suddenly shows some thing like snow particles and I really feel bad about the same. Please let me out of the issue and I will be really happy if you all can help me with the same.

Well it would have been really nice if you would have posted what is the operating system that you are having on the system. I think that this is the issue with the Display Drivers and I will suggest you to have the drivers installed on the system so that you can get rid of this drastic snow issue. Please go to the official site of the Toshiba and you will be able to have the display drivers that will be based on the Category; Family and the Model of the Laptop that you have with you. Please see that you feed in the entry properly and I am sure that you will have the perfect drivers for your laptop.

Yes even I am of the same opinion. I think that you will have to look for the display drivers so that you can have the issues solved. I have seen a lot of complaints with the Toshiba Customers and I think that it is really important that you have the latest drivers for the laptop in your case. You will be able to have the drivers for the laptop from the following site: http://www.csd.toshiba.com Make a visit there and have the drivers for the model that you have there.

Thanks for making the suggestion for me at this great speed. I really need the solution so I was hooked at this and I am happy that I got the suggestion in such a quick succession. Well thanks for the link that you have given but the thing is that I can precede with the download section but when I go there I can see only the DRIVERS and the Software that are for the Windows 7 I really cannot find anything that can help me in finding the Windows XP software. I have the Windows XP on the system and will be happy if you can give me the DRIVERS directly here. I have tried there but it seems like that they have just made the software there only for the Windows 7 and nothing else than that. Please give me the drivers instead directly.

Struggled with the similar issue but however I was able to overcome the issue. Here is the fix that I tried for and I am of the opinion that you will also be able to get out of the display issues. Just see the steps below and see if you can get rid of the issue:

• Try to start the system in the Safe Mode
• When you will be able to have the Windows in the safe mode then please go to the Control Panel.
• Under the Control Panel see for the Device Manager
• There you will need to uninstall the Display Adapter; well I did the same in my case.
• After the Display Adapter is uninstalled RESTART the system
• Then please let the Windows find the drivers all by itself and then install them
• Once you get that installed again go for the REBOOT

At least that solved the issue in my case and I am sure that you will get your problem rectified in the similar manner.

If you want to have my opinion in this case then I think that you will be required to have the New Drivers for you. You can get the same by following the instruction that has been posted above and if at all you are not able to have them for you then I can have the same here.
