How to install linux on my mobile phone?

Hello friends I would want to know that can I be able to install linux operating system on any Nokia mobile phone and also how can I be able to do it. I dont have enough knowledge of the mobile phones but just want to know is there any way to do it. If so then how to carry out the procedure for installing it into the mobile phone supported by NOKIA. Can any one help me to know about this.

Hey first of all can you specify which kind of NOKIA mobile phones do you require to install the linux operating system. You can't install linux on any old phone, it has to be built to run linux basically, so unless you've got the right phone to start with you've got no hope of having linux onto your NOKIA handset. So you should first make it clear that you are having a linux based mobile to carry on the the installation process. According to me linux will be difficult to install in any mobile as there are no mobiles currently having linux as a operating system.

Hey even I am looking for instating a new OS in the china mobiles that are available in the market at a very cheap rate. Basically I would want to do this so as to test whether I be able to install some other kind of the operating system say linux in the china mobiles so see it supports as well as to improve its features and to make it more effective than before. I would love to get some idea on how exactly I would be able to this and what else I would require to make my creativity successful. So any one coming with a useful advice will be very thankful from my side.
