    A durable laptop for Heavy-Duty

I have a laptop which I don’t want to name it here. I have been using it from past 4 years and it satisfied me pretty well. I have dropped it several times when I was stuck in a hurry times. Now it gets several cracks on the panel. Now I am planning to get this out of service and to bring the new one. So I want to buy laptop which can take several injuries. Yeah, the tough one. I have looked at several brands and they were pretty much tougher than mine old one. But practically I don’t think so. So I will have to go for your suggestion. What kind of brands can survive longer in my hands?

The Panasonic had launched the Toughbook several years ago. Many people know about their features. But now many of the companies brought their own kind of tough book which includes several features like water proof , shock proof, temperature proof etc. They are developed to stand against the vibration, spills, very low and high temperature, rough handling and drops. The problem is that you can’t find them very easily at the retailers and also they are overpriced. Some Toughbook are restricted to general purpose.

As far as my suggestion concerned I will not suggest you to go only for the toughbook laptops. There are some kinds semi tough laptops are available in the market. I will mention several models which you can go for.
    • Dell Latitude ATG D620 was built by magnesium frame contain 14” screen with protective case and ultra bright screen for outdoor users.

    • Getac P470 which contain daylight readable touch screen

If you are a heavy duty user whose laptop will stands between the tough and semi tough models then I wish you to go for the following models.
    • RNB Eagle highly functional and lightweight notebook with latest security features like finger print reader and the smart card reader.

    • Black Hawk Duo which includes the same features of the previous one with some advance technology. It has been built for maximum performance.

Most of the users don’t know that the expected life of the laptop is 3 year. After this period the manufacturers pull them and some of their peripherals out of distribution. This is because the failure rate of the hardware increases high and they will not able to fix it within the limited cost. Even you will not get the hardware parts of the older laptops very easily even inside the corporation. So it is waste of money to buy a tough laptop. All you can do is buy a cheaper laptop and change it every two to three years.
