MacBook Air:Superdrive issues any recommendation for External Bluray

I have the MacBook Air with me and previously I had the MacBook Air and I just got it exchanged. Now I do not have any issue with the MacBook Air but the issue is with the Superdrive that I was using with the MacBook Pro. I have used the superdrive not more than for 20 times and this thing is now giving me the trouble. I do not know the reason for this but I just want to work so that I can use it know for me. I am really fed up with the products of the Apple as they are coming up with the problems and not with performance. A live example is this superdrive and it was not used that frequently and it has started to cause me the problems. Is there anything with which you all can help me with? Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

Yes it is true and I am also of the opinion that for the past three months I have seen that the complaint sections of the Apple have flooded with the customers from all over the world. Well I think in your case it must have happened because of the compatibility issues i.e. within the MacBook Air and the Superdrive. I think that you will be required to have the drivers for the same so that it can be run on the MacBook Air. Just go on the official Site of the Apple and see what they have for you. I am sure that they will be having the updates if there would have been such complaint before. Also do post if you managed to get the updates for you. I am sure that the updates will do a bit from their side.

I do not agree with what Bon-Z has suggested, I am not of the opinion that you must go and fetch the updates for a thing that was before that was the responsibility of the Apple to give that before. Well however for the time being I think visiting the site of the Apple will be the nice thing to go for. Also I would like to tell you that you will have to have a good look while you will be dealing with the Updates. It will be nice if you can have the proper version of the update.

I have visited the site of the Apple and I have not found anything that can help me fetch the updates for the MacBook Air. I think that they have not released anything like that for the users, and I am the first one to have come across such situation. Well for now I have given up the idea of continuing with the Superdrive, I think that it will be nice to go with the alternative of this. I tried this scrap on to my brothers MacBook Pro and this time too that did not work. Instead for the first time it takes the CD in and after sometime it just throws the CD out and after that I put it again it just throws it directly, and same is the case with the DVD. I am really fed up with this and I want something in exchange. I have decided to go with another bluray superdrive. Please suggest me something (bluray superdrive) that can be compatible with the MacBook Air. I want to run it at once not buying it and then waiting for the updates to come for. Thanks in advance. I think that I have cleared myself with the choice.

Well I have something that can really bring smile to your face. I have got the alternative that can really help you to get the better and a suitable thing for the Superdrive. Well you had mentioned that you are fed up with the products of apple so I thought that it will be nice if I can fetch you something that is out of the box. I have brought two options for you and I think that they are worth of giving try. The two options of which I am talking are Fastmac Blu-Ray drive and Plextor PX-610U drive. Regarding the same you can get the information by visiting the official website. They both are Blu-Ray thing and I am sure that they are compatible with the MacBook Air. Hope that I have fetched the solution.

If you want to spend your money on something then I think that Fastmac Blu-Ray drive is the better option to go for. It is said on its official site that this thing is specially made for the Mac and hence I have found that it will work with any of the MacBook let it be Pro or Air. It will not only permit you to burn conservative CDs and DVDs, but also will give you the capability to watch profitable Blu-Ray movies right from your Mac. It is showing four options viz. BD-Rom, BD-R 1X, BD-R 4X, BD-R 6X. Really it is the thing that you are looking for. Also the price I think is under the budget and it is somewhat near to the $90 or so. I would have given this a try and I think that it will be wise to go for the same.

I think I would have been happy with the second option i.e. Plextor PX-610U drive. I have confirmed the price and I have seen that it is of $90 from the amazon.com. I even think that it is just waste to go with the Apple product. Well if at all you want to have the same thing from the Apple then let me tell you that it will nearly cost you $20 or $30 more in addition to the Plextor PX-610U drive. The only good thing about this is that it requires only one USB port and this thing is compatible across multiple machines. I would have gone with this and would vote for it if polled.
