My iPhone doesn't ring

Hiiiii....
I am using my iphone from last 4 months. I was really very happy with my phone as it is having many cool features in it .. But from past some days i am facing the handset problem. Actually whenever i try to make calls it is responding good but whenever a phone call comes into phone i am not able to hear the sound or you can say, the audio sound or the ringtone cannot be heard. Is their any technical problem. I mean is their any software problem or any hardware issue... Please help me out...

Hey you can try out for some other ringtone which is loud enough... You can just select someother ringtone and then check for the sound because sometimes the ringtone you select may not have sufficient sound capability which results into poor sound output... Else go to the service center and have your iphone upadted with the Software.

You can check the silent ring switch on the upper left side of the iPhone. Flick it on and off a few times and then leave it in the up position in relation to the screen. Then check whether the sound is audible or not. If again you are having the same sound issue then you must go for the system software updation. Once you update the Operating system in your iphone thenafter you will not have any problem with it... Just check it out..

Then you can take your apple buds and rapidly plug/unplug them multiple times...from time to time the iPhone suppose that you are yet now also have them plugged in and you type of have to reset the port. Or do a soft reset by holding down the sleep and home button together...hold until the apple logo reappears.. This will definately help you solve the problem..

Last thing you can do is a restore using iTunes...Insure that you sync first. Save any pictures in your camera roll to the computer as they do not back up and notes also will not back up. Everything else will back up except you will have to re-enter your passwords. After setting all these things you can then again try using the iphone and try for the phone ring.. If still the problem persist then go for the system updation or just contact the apple service center so that they can help you fix the problem.

I also had the same problem with my iphone. iphone does not ring even though the setting is set to ring.Did everything is reset to factory settings,remove the password lock(if any).stop the call incoming call forwarding.I hope this should work. If still not satisfied then their is another solution for you people. On iphone left hand top corner there is a toggle button which controls your settings for slient or ring. If you try this then you should not have any problem with it.. Atleast it worked for me...

You can just try for the software updation in your iphone as due to some software issues their may be some problems arising. Sometimes if the software you installed is working fine but the internal settings of your iphone may not be correct such as putting the silent mode on or keeping the volume level low or any such problem. So just try for these settings and check whether they are proper or not.
