Audio and video files not transfered form blackberry torch 9800 to laptop

I am a regular user of the blackberry phones and from last few days I am not capable to sync audio and video files between my blackberry Torch and Windows XP SP3. I have BBDesktop 6 installed, the phone is linked via USB in a straight line to the laptop, and all of the Media Sync options say:"You necessitate turning on collection storage mode from the associated BlackBerry device to use this characteristic."I observe no such configuration alternative on the phone. Also, in Windows file manager, the memory SD and USB drives emerge as detachable drives G: and F:, but they are inaccessible: and provides a message as "Please insert disk in drive in the laptop", so please provide me the solution to overcome the issue.

To transfer files such as the audio and the video from the blackberry torch 9800 you need the BBDesktop 6 application installed on the laptop. These application is available on t he blackberry website and you can download it from there. Install it in the laptop and then using it you can transfer the data from the blackberry torch, it is mostly used to sync the contacts from the phone to the laptop.

I have downloaded the new version of the BBDesktop 6 application from the blackberry website and tried it install it in the laptop but it failed to installed and provided the message that it need to update the application. What should i do now to overcome these issue and tell me the steps to connect the blackberry with the laptop using the windows xp operating system.

If you wan to transfer the audio and the video files from the blackberry to the laptop then you required a Media service such as the blackberry Desktop 6 application provided by the blackberry app store. After the installation on the laptop you have to go to the application and select the sync option it will automatically select the appropriate device connected to the laptop and after that transfer the audio and the video files in a proper way.

If the BBDesktop 6 application provides an error message as "update is not completed" or "there is an issue in the download " then you have to update the BBDesktop 6 from the blackberry website and then you can transfer all the audio and video files from the blackberry to the laptop and vice versa.
