What would you go for iphone 4 or Galaxy S

I just want to know if you go for a smart phone then among iphone 4 and samsung galaxy which one will you choose and why. I found this too phone as one of the best models with great features. Most of my friends have similar models with them. But on the same hand iphone provides a good touch feature. Does Samsung Galaxy is enough capable to compete iphone.
