x10 mini pro issue (touchscreen problem)

The sony ericsson xperia x10 mini has been bought by me few days ago,the issue with this one is that the touch screen is not functioning after it is resumed from the standby,i thought that this problem is related to battery, so please any one help me to sort this problem for my mobile to be normal.

The similar issue has been created with my mobile phone,as i have installed the wrong applications in my device which were not recommended to me,this has locked the functioning of my touch screen which has created the headache for me, so any one help me to come out of this problem, recommend me the actual applications.
