Galaxy S, Kies and Windows 7

The laptop which i use has the kies software for it, and the operating system installed is of the windows 7,the problem is related to my laptop getting hang consistently,the galaxy s mobile when i try to connect it to my laptop it indicates the detection of camera instead of my mobile,so please any one help me to sort out this problem.

The kies software which you have installed on your laptop,and the particular samsung mobile is not detected on your laptop,so you may make use of the administrator account on windows 7,and have a right click on my computer and go to manage,then a pop up will be seen with list of items with windows 7 and then click on samsung device and uninstall it,then unplug the device and once again plug it and set it in a kies mode so that the connection may be established.

The galaxy s mobile which you use and the laptop with window 7 which you have, according to to me as the device which is not detected on your laptop and it detects the camera, i feel that the respected drivers of the usb of your samsung mobile to be installed in your laptop, so that the mobile detection problem may not lasts.

The kies is the software which is mostly meant to have transfer of files to the pc, but i would like to inform that this software is not been recognized by the operating system,there might be some clash with the software, please check the version of the kies software,as the older version has to be updated so that it supports the recommended os.
