Why screen shows "Contact Service"?

My mobile phone was working very well from last one month but today in morning when I take it out from arvo I found one error on the screen, it was showing me “contact Service”. I did not make any phone calls neither have operations on it. I am not able to understand that why it is showing me error. I have done restart with it but still getting same pop up error. When it gets start it show me normal screen just for 2 seconds and then I receive that pop up error. Even it is not searching for network. My all keys are not working on this error, even I am not able to make emergency calls……. Does anyone have seen this problem? Anybody here who can help me for this problem? I am using Nokia 5233

I have not seen these kind of problem yet and the mobile (Nokia 5233) you are using is awesome. I think so that problem is not with you phone, it’s looking like service provider problem. Something is blocking you to get access on Network and that is why you are not able to make emergency calls also. Your error message is only suggesting you (“contact service”) to contact service center. So I think so you should go to your service provider to find the genuine solution.

It is really interesting if you are not able to solve this problem by rebooting your phone because normally this kind of problem can get solved by rebooting. I think so your simcard is giving you problem. Just take out your battery out and then take away your simcard out. Then put them back and turn your mobile on. I hope it will solve your problem. If it does not get solved then you really have to make call to your service provider. Also try to see your manufactures website if it under warranty.

i had this problem last week and from that day i am using my brother's mobile. one of my fried told me that it’s not a service provider problem . If you are getting error “contact Service”, it simply means that something has done wrong with one of my mobile application. It is like receiving error from computer “error has occurred, please restart”, but reboot facility is not available with mobile phones. So it will be good if i will go to any nearest Nokia service center, and Nokia Technician will be able to help me properly. If my phone is under warranty then i no need to pay but it is out of warranty. Now i want to make format on my Mobile but i do not now how to that. plz tell me the right way.

Hello never try to make format your mobile OS by yourself because it can create any serious problem if you do not have warranty left then you have to pay very less amount for this kind of service because they are not going to replace any hardware component. Go to the service center they will give you right solution like what is exactly wrong with your phone. You will get your phone up to upgraded OS. So I will suggest you should go to you manufacturer service center.
