HP Touchsmart tm2t Auto-Rotation

I have purchased the new laptop that is HP Touchsmart tm2t and started getting the problem with the same. Actually the screen is not auto-rotating. I have performed the Tablet Orientation setting but still no luck. I have read that the Quick Launch driver will resolve the same but installing the same did not work for me. So if any one can then help me with the same.

As you have recently purchased the device of yours then i will advise you first to contact the dealer of yours and ask for the help regarding the issue of yours and i am sure they will fix the issue. It seems to be the faulty device which should be replaced with the new one. So try this out and see whether it is working for you or not.

This is the known issue of the HP Touchsmart tm2t which is faced by most of the user of the same but no one got any solution til yet. If you search on net then you will come to know that most of the user are having this issue. Contacting HP also not helping out as they don't have any update for this issue. Thats what i know about this issue.

If you are unable to get the rotate of the device then i will ask you to perform the manual rotation which can be helpful for rotating the screen. For that you have to check for the Small Rectangular button on the Right hand side of the screen and press the same this will manually rotate the screen. Try this out until the Auto Rotate got resolved.

The auto=-Rotation in the HP device is performed with the help of the MVSCActn.dll file which might be missing from the system of yours and that is why you are getting this kind of issue. Just download the MVSCActn.dll file from the internet and after that install the same. I think this will resolve the issue with the same.

As you have discussed above that you have installed the HP Quick Launch Buttons driver so tell me that did you install the latest version of the same. If not then install the Latest version of the driver into the system which will be compatible with the Windows 7 and then see whether the issue got resolved with the same or not.

First of all thanks to all for helping me out with the issue that i am going through and let me tell i have resolved the issue with the help of the Gonzo's reply. I have downloaded the MVSCActn.dll and place it on the installation folder and the issue related to the HP Touchsmart tm2t Auto-Rotation got resolved.
