    T4210/T4215 and Intel VT extensions

My elder brother gifted me a Fujitsu Lifebook 4210 Tablet PC which is perform well and I am using it from the past 3 month but now it giving me the low performance. So, I was thinking of enabling the Intel VT extension from the BIOS. I am not able to get the good performance when I run any other operating system in my MS Virtual PC. As I know most of the other notebook gives the facility of enable or disable option for the Intel VT extension in BIOS. So, I am looking for the proper solution to solve my problem.

The Intel VT extension provides the feature which allow the multiple operating system to run at the same time on the computer in the safe and efficient manner which can also known as the hardware virtualization. If you want do this task on the system the you need to when in the BIOS setting and enable it but that also depends upon the system will support the Intel VT extension so before that just ensure that.

If you wan the Intel VT extension on your computer work in order to run various operating system them you just have to go your bios setting by pressing the f8 or f2 during the booting process of the windows that depends on the different computer. And then enable the Intel VT extension, if it does not able to get enable then you have to update your bios from the Fujitsu official website and then install it in your computer and the go again for the resetting of the bios.

I was facing the same in my laptop having the trouble is enabling the virtualization so then I search on google and got the Intel Processor Identification utility which i found on the intel officail support and where as i know that this also supports on your machine. It performs well in my computer when I use any other operating system. It will not provide you with any disadvantage on the MS Virtual PC.

I was having the same problem and was having no idea about how to get solve with it so I send an email to the Fujitsu support center letting them know about my problem. They replied in 24 hours to my email in which they have told me to use the latest bios version 1.11. I install this Bios and found the bit speed growth in my machine while running the Inter VT extension which is the virtualization software on the Tablet PC. You might also get some solution by updrading your bios.

My unccle was facing the same problem so even he did the same thing and went to the Fujitsu support and got fix with his problem. You can add any utility from the Fujitsu support website and this utility is added to the bios which actually let you enable Intel VT extension on your computer. You can get to run the Virtual PC 2007 or some any other to run on your T4210 laptop where as in the T4215 the bios is already having the VMWare on it.

In my laptop I wan tot go for the Intel VT extension for this I did the installation of the video drive as intel GMA950 in my computer. In order to manage ,secure and for the better performance I have done the Intel VT extension enable in my computer for which I have to go through some basic settings in my bios. But ou have to make sure that the bios of your system should be updated with the version 1.1 which is the upgraded bios version which will support the enabling of the Intel VT extension in your computer
