SSD Support on MSI U115 Hybrid Netbook

Even though the U115 instruction booklet talk about that the U115 is obtainable with one of three CPUs and whichever 8GB or 16GB SSD installed, the simply model presently accessible in the U.S has an Intel Atom Z530 (1.6 GHz) CPU and 8GB SSD. Insincerity does a great deal regarding the CPU, but you are able to upgrade the SSD. The U115 takes 35 pin ZIF, 1” form factor, IDE SSD such as a 16GB module from Trancend, currently about USD 55.

Actually I am also waiting here to hear that if an original 32GB net book SSD from Super Talent will work in a U115. But now the fresh SSD has size, ZIF connector, etc., but is "earmarked" for an Acer Aspire One. So I think you just go step by step and I think it will help you a lot. First you do an appropriate search regarding this.

I just want to tell you that yes actually the super talent 1.3 form factor and 32GB which is naked module or the fraction part does this work in the MSI Wind U115. An end to "low down memory on Drive C:" caution Although the SSD is supposedly for the Acer Aspire One, both Acer and MSI go after the volume for 40 pin FFC/FPC clamp style ZIF connectors. I have 2GB of RAM in my U115. Actually as you probably, the RAM mod and the SSD mod each void your warranty.
