    Gateway NV53A24u and Starcraft 2

    I do not know if I am alone in this case or if others have this problem: I installed starcraft 2 on my Gateway NV53A24u laptop. When I enter my Login Battle.net , after 2 minutes the game stops and an error report appears saying:

    HTML Code:
    ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005 )
    Occurred at 001B : 3CCDB8A8 . The memory at '0 x35A5D921 ' Could not Be read.
    Manual Stack Trace ( ID : 2228 Stack : 8,388,608 0x03F60000 + "Main Thread ")
    Can anybody help me for this error. Thank you in advance.

    To do this , very simple , sign up and when you enter the game StarCraft II , he asks you your e - mail and code . ( And not the nickname). Log into their site . Top right , there is " Account "( or " Account " ), click on it. Look in the box : My accounts of play, If Starcraft II is that is that you have incorrectly typed in your code or e- mail when starting the game, If the message "Your account is not associated Battle.Net game " So it's simple : So Click on: Add a game, Then he asks you to enter the code , open your case and Starcraft II from the code by taking into account the dashes ! And then : Turn the Game, I hope my answer has helped you in your journey.

    Upon its release, StarCraft 2 met various criticisms , between the obligation to connect to Battle.Net to launch a player or a LAN card , or geographical divisions which prohibit missed playing with friends in other continents . Another criticism has also appeared more original , even among the readers of PC INpact : the game would be a killer graphics card. The official Blizzard forum a thread with over 170 comments giving basically the same story: the game menu would overheat the graphics card , eventually crash the game and the computer . Sometimes the game will have blown the map entirely.

    The cards have integrated safety preventing overheating to the point of self-destruction . And the problem of overheating is caused by the fact that the game does not limit display frames per second . In the menu , a user with a Radeon HD 4850 and reported 512 FPS display .To fix is available. Must access the file variables.txt located in My Documents \ StarCraft II ( and not in subfolders) and add the values :

    frameratecapglue = 30
    frameratecap = 60

    Or to put its preferred values ( the first line corresponds to the FPS game , the second menu to FPS ). Note: Mac file is \ Documents \ Blizzard \ StarCraft II \ Variables.txt.

If it's the same as for Warcraft 3 : You type regedit in Run , then you go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then SOFTWARE , then Blizzard , or when it is directly Starcraft 2, and you change resheight reswidth and depending on the resolution you want.

    IF you have the gear required (minimum config) I see only one answer: your internet connection is not great. I myself connection good: I have some lag from time to time (1 or 2 seconds nothing offensive), So here see the side of your internet provider. But frankly the beta is great!! you miss something. or you keep your current memory and you add him 2x512Mo. It'll cost about $ 30/35.

    SOLUTION that worked for me.

    First, I was having same exact error appear while playing SC2 and it would crash my game instantly.

    Solution seems unreal but it works! It was a sound card drivers that are to support onboard sound card. I disabled onboard sound card from the BIOS and problem was solved! I was shocked - no more errors, no more crashes. Went and bought a nice creative sound card that I installed and am now using instead of my onboard one and no problem whatsoever.
