Internal Bluetooth on Satellite A305-S6844

My brother brought for me a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6844 which does not have internal bluetooth. As one of my friend is having the laptop which have in-built bluetooth module(pa3608u-1btm) for Satellite A200/A300.Now, even I want to ask whether i can install this or any other internal blue tooth module in my laptop. I need a proper guidance to solve my problem.

You have to see it that the motherboard supports the Bluetooth. You have to actually research for the Bluetooth socket. If the socket does not support the motherboard and still you try to fix it then you will be facing the problem in your motherboard. You may get a new motherboard for putting the internal Bluetooth.

The trouble in most Toshiba laptop is that it simply get well with the Toshiba proprietary cards. Each and ever y proprietary are shaped differently to get attach with specific model of motherboard. So as per what I suggest is just try to get the internal Bluetooth from the manufacturer company only. This will help the system not getting crash because sometimes the system get crash.

The most important part is that you cannot upgrade your laptop with internal Bluetooth card as by this you will lose your warranty . If you want to upgrade then you have to intstall the ASP and for the upgradation you have to go to the service provider . But I will recommend you to go with the external USB Bluetooth device. The external Bluetooth also work well on the Toshiba laptop.

I have tried putting the external Bluetooth adapter on my laptop. In the beginning, I install the Bluetooth software to check whether it is working or not .Then I tried to found the space inside my laptop and I found it on the right side corner of the laptop. I was having the simple idea remove the Bluetooth module and soldering it with the USB ports. By this you will able to use the external Bluetooth as internal Bluetooth in your laptop.

You can get the internal bluetooth by getting it upgrade from the service provider which is the best way. After the getting the upgraded internal bluetooth with the latest drivers installed on it.If that does not work then just uninstall the drivers and again reinstall the drivers. This may fix your problem but that depend on the motherboard you are having.
