    Satellite L505D-S5965 Wireless

I just want to mention that I am a true Toshiba lover. They launch really solid product. Actually I purchased Toshiba laptop almost 6 month ago with the vista as os which is original. It worked fine. Then I have installed windows 7 just to mention a clean install. And then I have connected my internet but when I use my net then my wireless utility informs me that there are no connections available. Then I run windows update foe few times I believe that I recall a wireless driver being included in one of the updates. Even though didn’t get any solution. So I have opened my computer management console, uninstall the existing wireless driver, and continue with the installation of the driver direct from Realtek. And after that I reboot it but no joy. Then in last the troubleshoot link it informs me that switch maybe turned off. This satellite that is Satellite L505D-S5965 it doesn’t come with the physical WLAN switch. Then I reboot it again and take a look in the BIOS setup where I did the setting for the built-in wireless card. Then I move it to on and then proceed to boot. But no success. Now I don’t know what to do because whatever I know related to this I have did all the things but nothing seems to work. Anyone know how to resolve this.

So you are using Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5965. whatever You are trying for your solution I really don't know much regarding this but I read one column from digit magazine from there I knew the solution for this. Have you try to run the software installer. It is a Toshiba software Installer for the windows 7. Try it.

I am using different laptop model, But I am facing the same problem as mentioned by the one of the user. In that I am not able to see my Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN adapter then I switch it to on in the HW setup utility. In this key I have tried f8 keys. But it doesn’t seem to work. I have seen several solution on this but none of them work in my case. These all occurred right after the update that I have installed. I have tried atmost every ones suggestion but nothins is working in my case. Does anyone have solution actually I want to say NEW solution for this issue?

I think same issue happen with my friend also. He was also so much worry about this problem. Then from one of forum site he got the solution in that user suggest him it is happening because of virus also you just format your pc this time and see whether it fix your problem or not. He did the same thing and his issue gets cleared. I think you also try this one time may it fix your problem also.
