HP C309a - Prints to laptops but not desktop

I have bought a HP Photosmart C309a, which has been connected to an Ethernet cable which is coming from my D-Link router. I am able to print by using this printer via wireless from the laptop but it is not possible with the Desktop PC. My printer gets detected by the desktop pc but when i give print function then it does not works. Laptop as well as desktop has Windows 7 operating system. I am getting yellow triangle next to my PC in devices and printers from the Control Panel. Is there anybody familiar with this problem.

I have seen that this kind of problem persists when you system has some third party application which might be showing some kind of problem with your printer functionality. You should first disabling the windows firewall on your windows 7 desktop pc and then check that your printer can print or not.

This problem aslo can come even if your windows firewall has been disabled as if you have installed some hardcore security software on your windows 7 desktop system. I suggest you to disable that security system for some time just to check that your printer works without it or not. As if it works then you can uninstall that one and replace the security software of your system with some other.

It might happen that the drivers which you have installed on your windows 7 desktop system wont be according to the version of windows os. Actually this problem persists when you have driver of 32 bit version windows operating system on 64 bit windows system. This is very much important point to be noted as your system should have a driver according to the windows os version.
