    1810tz audio problem, background noises

I am getting some issues with my 1810tz, Win7 64bit. There are some annoying buzzing noises when I connect my headphones over audio out. They are corresponding with the CPU load, when the CPU seems idling then they are louder and constant when the CPU is functioning and they have changed the buzzing rhythmic but are not moved on. According to me, the connected hard disk in this case is causing little bit . Disabling the audio between does not mute the buzzing noises also. I had the same problem and that maybe 8 years ago on my first desktop with integrated Realtek audio chip..

Actually, my 1410 does the same and other users having the same issue regarding this have reported with the same message on different forums but there is not any solution that I read and goes feasible for me .It seems so weired , it is worse with one pair of headphones which I have and not as worst with different one pair. As soon as I can play audio, it either moves away or I am unable to hear the same, so it is a "non-issue" for me in this case .

I am running with the same issue . Mine buzzes from somewhere close to the backside, near the memory slot. Muting not going feasible for this and the noise heard from the audio out line is the similar noise, so it is more compared with the buzzing noise is moving onto the audio line or ground line.

There is some funny thing is that , At the time of BIOS configuration page, it doesn't buzz at all. It seems to start buzzing at the time of drivers loading procedure; with booting windows 7 ,mine starts buzzing during the mouse cursor displays up.

I should have used to make disable each one driver to search out what may be the possible reason that can cause this problem in this situation and I am just trying to find this out ; disabling sound driver would be my first one option to go for ; but since I have sent the same for repair all I can do is to just wait if acer can find and cure the issue (but support is not that good here so my expectation is not so maximum with this ).

Re: 1810tz audio problem, background noises

I have just received the Gateway ec1430u (1810tz clone) on monday and I hear a same as noise whenever hard disk entered into the active mode. I am tempted to take this apart and find out if I can associate some shielding with the cable. I really love to have notebook and don;t like the noise. The noise is not transferred over the optical cable, and I have yet to find out if it transfers via the HDMI or USB (I am running with a usbdac I could check this on later).
