Android 2.2 Response Issues

I am facing some issues with my home screen of Motorola Droid as it is not so quick while responding. It takes some around 3-4 seconds to for moving forward or backward. I guess touch screen does not recognize my touch quickly or whatever could be the problem but since i have updated my phone with an Android 2.2, Such problem have started showing on my phone.

I have not seen even a single person saying that an Android 2.2 is working slow. Though there are many other problems but i guess it responds properly. I think you should check that is there any virus or not. If there would be any virus then also this happens. I suggest you to scan your phone by using some anti virus software.

It might happen that some third party application wont be compatible with an Android 2.2 which you might have installed on your phone. I suggest you to remove all the third party application from your phone and then check that its speed increases or not. That third party application might not be so effective in an older android.

I think you have not rebooted your phone after upgrading it to latest version of an android so i suggest you to reboot your system. I think you should reboot your phone which does not mean just switching the phone of and then on. Turn of your phone and pull out your battery. Now switch it on and check that is there any difference or not.

If there wont be any viruses on your system then also it could get slow due to some third party application which might be using the large amount of network signals due to which your phone works slowly. I suggest you to remove all the third party application from your system and then check that it works properly or not.
