Droid...Randomly calling numbers in lock down mode

I am here with a new issue that I have come across my Droid. My phone, when it is in the lock down mode starts to call the numbers randomly. This has happened about 5 to 6 times and now I am fed up with this behavior of the phone. The staffs at the droid store, are not at all helpful in the tech support. Now, I want to get the piece exchanged. If, now I exchange the phone then will I get back the applications that I purchased is my only question?

If you want to continue using the current piece and get the solution from us in this context then please give me and my colleague some details regarding the phone, where was it before this happened? Was it in your pocket? or was it near a magnet? or was it connected to the charger? The reason I am asking this is because you are not not the only one facing this problem, there are many more suffering the same sort of problem. I just want to reach the conclusion for the cause of such a problem. Please provide us the detail.

I am here to tell you about the applications that you mentioned. Yes you can get all the purchased applications on your new replaced piece, if and only if your Verizon Droid is set to sync with gmail or google. Now, regarding the intellectuality of the Verizon's staff(employees) it is better if you ask them about it. Thank you.

Cruzz, the phone was neither in the pocket, nor it was near a magnet. I am charging the Droid using the charger that came with this unit. Earlier I was using the Verizon docking station. I was not using any unusual application as such. I just discovered the calls were made but that were not made by me. Then suddenly I got the phone red-handed when the call was being made to my boss. I think this much of the current scenario of the phone would be sufficient. Thanks.

I am also having the same issue and after reading this thread I can conclude that there is something really near to my problem. My phone makes the call without any assistance. It usually happens when it is in my shirt-pocket. I always lock the phone by pressing the power button once before I place it in my shirt-pocket. It does not dial any specific number as such. I am absolutely clueless regarding this. It was, after, I saw this thread that I was not doing something wrong? Is anyone up with the solution so far?
