USB Flash Drive-Driving me NUTS!

I have my resumes and several other important data saved on my flash drive. I haven't had any problems with it in the past. When I tried to pull up my resume it opens Microsoft Office but then I get an error message that states:

"Windows cannot find 'L:/Resumes 2010/Candace J Wood (NEWest)docx'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again."

I can open other files from my flash drive but non of my written documents. I need some help please and thank you!

Go to Start, Run, type "regedit" and press Enter. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Word\ Addins. First export all the addins to a file just for backup. Now delete all of them. Now try opening any .docx file. If the problem disappears then that certainly indicates that the problem lies in your addins.
