HTC Evo Outlook Task Sync problem

I have a problem synchronizing the Outlook 2003 calendar with my PDA ( HTC Evo ), In fact , the synchronization of the PDA seems to run fine , contacts syncs perfectly.For the task when I create on the PDA it appears on the microphone after synchronization. only propose that synchronization with the elements present locally. I am not a user of Outlook , but if you want an Android phone , you need a google account (Otherwise , I think you have no access to Market , Gmail , GTalk ...).So I think the easiest thing is to have a Google account and use Google Calendar ( which is very well done ).
