Mac - replacing Blackberry Tour 9630 and restoring data

Recently i have lost my Blackberry Tour 9630 and i was using the Desktop Manager Version 1.0.2 with the Mac OS X 10.6.2. I used this mac for differentiating the 4 blackberries. Now it is not allowing me to change the PIN number in order to restore the data from the lost phone. So is there anybody who can provide me proper solution ?

I think as you have lost the phone then it wont be possible to change the PIN of that phone which has been lost as you must have to connect the phone to the computer system of which you would like to change the PIN. And you said that the phone has been lost then i guess Desktop Manager wont be helping you.

I don't get that why you want to enter a new PIN for connecting the phone which has some other PIN number. I think you wont be needing an older PIN number for getting the data from your computer system as there wont be anything locked unless you have not done it. You just need to connect the phone which is there and enter the PIN of that phone. Then you may search for the data which you have saved earlier by using an older phone.

I have never used the Blackberry's Desktop manager so i do not know an user interface of this software. But still i think for restoring the data which has been saved by using the PIN number of stolen phone then i guess you have to connect the phone which has that PIN. Without having the phone, Desktop Manager wont be having that PIN number automatically. Is there any way to enter the PIN manually so that you can enter the PIN for older phone to get the data stored on it.

First of all connect the phone which is there with you and enter the PIn for that phone and then i think you just want to store all those data of stolen phone into this new one. Then you just have to get the data from your pc to the phone in a normal way in which you take it. But an only difference would be that you wont be getting that data which has been locked by the PIN sync of that phone. You can get it unless and until you connect that phone.

I was having the similar problem when i was connecting my Blackberry 8130 as i was getting the message as "Your messaging account is currently configured to use device with PIN [old pin]. Would you like to switch to the connected device with PIN [new pin] instead?" I was using my Blackberry 7520 on this software due to which it was showing this message which is still showing as an active device. But on pressing the Yes button works.
