    Macbook 32 bit or 64

I want to buy a new laptop for my personal use. I looking to buy an Apple’s Macbook but I I am confused between the 32 and 64 bit computer. I have about the Macbook 64 bit but I have very less knowledge about this computer that’s why I want to know something more additional about this computer. Somebody having knowledge about the same the please let me know.

Actually I don’t have much knowledge about the Macbook 64 bit. And also I am not ever heard about the Macbook 64 bit. But I will suggest you to don’t go for Macbook 64 bit and which is simly a wasting of money. Because Apple’s Mac book 32 bit is best for you. Otherwise you can buy whatever you want, this is my opinion only.

The manufacturer revealed at the Apple Xserve servers that only use the default 64-bit kernel, while among the client machines, those carrying a processor 64-bit will not necessarily run the 64bit kernel? Indeed, the 64-bit kernel also needs a 64-bit EFI firmware, while the first Intel Macs were equipped with a 32-bit EFI ... On machines with 64-bit CPU and EFI, the 64-bit kernel will be used through a few tweaks (press 6 and 4 to start or edit a preference file to force the use of 64-bit kernel by default). That's the official version.

In practice, it seems that it is in fact a "fudge" ... Indeed, while some owners of machines EFI 32-bit managed to start the 64-bit kernel, others, although it has a 64-bit EFI, have not been able to start the 64-bit kernel ... I could not resist the temptation to do a test on my Macbook Santa Rosa late 2006. It is equipped with a 64-bit EFI, but both solutions to begin the 64-bit kernel has taken effect, the machine is desperately on the 32-bit kernel
