Issue with Smartview and Desktop manager

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows Vista. I have a Blackberry Desktop Manager application installed to the system. The problem is that I use Sprint for Internet access and when I start the Smartview it is not able to get access or the desktop manager is not functioning. I have no idea for the thing. Please do help me out so that I can make the issue to be sorted.
