New Blackberry 8520 - Cannot receive calls or download the application

Recently I have bought the Blackberry 8520 and now I am really a novice to this blackberry so I am facing problem in having grip on this phone. Actually the problem I am facing is that I cannot receive calls or download the applications on my Blackberry 8520. If anybody tries to call me I receive only one ring and after that the person who is calling me receives the busy ring tone. I am also facing other problems also currently I need help for this new Blackberry 8520 - Cannot receive calls or download the applications.

Well this problem normally occurs because of wrong settings in the profile option. Just check your profile and for that you need to go in to profile and then you have to click on the Advance and then choose to activate your profile. After doing that you have to scroll down and then just check that the option for "Do Not Disturb" must be disabled.

According to me you should try to use different profile and after that check you are facing the same problem or not. In this case you also need to consider that DO NOT DISTURB option is disabled, because this kind of problem normally occurs if this option is enabled. You can also try to do a hard reset if you want for that you just need to remove the battery for more than thirty seconds.

Thank you for the suggestion that you have given about the “Do not disturb" settings. This thing was enabled and I have disabled it. That’s all I have done for solving the problem. This problem is solved now it’s time to discuss the other problem I am facing. The next problem I am facing is that that I am not able to install any application on my Blackberry and cannot access the internet on it. I will be waiting for your reply.

I had the same problem as you but in a party and it simple to solve. You must activate the option "blackberry internet" which is free for you to connect. For this call to customer service and request you to upload with a counselor who you ask you activate it! Within 24 hours you will be able connect to the internet. If then also if you are facing the problem then provide the complete information about the phone.

I bought a Blackberry, which would have the possibility and of text messages and verbal communication, surprised I could not send the said texts and loaded the program, which allows me to make the update. They ask $ 15 for an update. Till now everything is fine but the problem is that I am not able to install the application after paying the amount.

Does your internet goes through the CU or the WiFi connection? For your information the offers that I mentioned in my previous post, are the offers with the BlackBerry option allowing so to have a push email. Indeed some other packages can work with a BlackBerry but it's like having a good phone that you cannot make the best. If you can provide the information related to that then I will try to solve the problem.
