    Lenovo Y510 or HP DV9601TX

I am searching for some low range laptop for my office work. I found two models on Ebay. The first is Lenovo Y510 and the other one is HP DV9601TX. Both have nice models and there is also a difference in the price. Now I am confused between choosing among them. If they are really older model then I need some suggestion for some low range of laptop models. Thanks.

The Lenovo Y510 belongs to new line of notebooks released by Lenovo long before. There are some three different models available in this range. The IdeaPad Y510 T7500 processor integrates a Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2 GHz), 2GB DDR2 667MHz, HDD 250GB SATA 5400rpm, a graphics card Geforce 8400M GS 128MB, a 15.4'' WXGA resolution of 1280 × 800, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, etc.

I will recommend you to go for Lenovo Y510. It is a nice and portable laptop which you can carry out for traveling. This laptop comes with dual layer DVD burner, card reader 6 in 1, a 2.1 audio connectors and Wi-Fi a / b / g, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Firewire, ExpressCard, VGA, S / PDIF, Ethernet and USB 2.0 (x4). So you get almost anything in that. It comes with a 6 cell battery which gives it an autonomy of 3h30 announced Windows Vista Home Premium, and weighs 2.96 kg.

I am using the HP DV9601TX model. It is an inexpensive laptop, tough and made to perform menial tasks. In fact, all configurations are similar and the HP Mini 210-1080EF no exception to the rule. There are very classically an Intel Atom N450 supported by 1GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. You can go for some mini model in the same range which is much easier to carry.

The Lenovo is a nice one as it offers classical performances, in connection with its configuration, and it will only office. Its large hard drive provides plenty of space. I will not say to go for a mini laptop as it will not give you a good hardware support. The Lenovo Y510 is a bit heavy for the category, with 3.2 kg. Other than this the laptop is quiet well and nice to use.

There are other models in the same range of Lenovo Y510. For example the Y510 T5450 model differs by its processor which is here a model Core 2 Duo T5450 (1.66 GHz) and its graphics card Geforce 8400M GS 128MB version while the Y510 T2330 merely a Pentium Dual Core T2330 (1.6 GHz ), a SATA 160 GB 5400 rpm and also a Geforce 8400M GS 128MB . Hardware is pretty low but good for work and surfing.
