There is a simple way by which you can simply delete the application in the iPad. For that you just have to go to the main screen and then go to the icon of the application that you wanted to remove. Now you will find a cross sign on then left top of the icon. Click on cross (X) mark and it will pop up a dialog for confirmation of removal, click on yes and you are done.

The another method to delete the application from the iPad is to use the iTunes. Just open the iTunes and the go to the device and click on your device. This will display all the application of your device. Deselect the application which you don't want to run in iPad. Now sync the iPad and iTunes you will be prompted by the dialog to remove the application click on yes and this will remove the application from iPad.

The method which is discussed above will not delete the application completely from the iPad. If you wanted to delete the application permanently you have to go through the below given step.
    1. Open the iTunes
    2. Go to the Library Section
    3. Then to Application
    4. You will find the application in right pane
    5. Right click on Application which you wanted to delete
    6. Select Delete
    7. You are done.
