    Iphone 3G GPS not working

I have a recurring problem apparently propose, The GPS Iphone 3G does not pick up with Navigon and it offers only a demonstration as the GPS signal is not sufficient. After several weeks Navigon has released a technique to drive the reluctant GPS. Last night I tried this method because ever since I took Navigon I have never been able to use it properly, and after three hours of manipulation that night. Please help.

You need to check the steps:
1 . Connect iPhone to a computer, then synchronize do a Ctrl + click on Mac or Windows , right click on the icon of the iPhone and make a backup
2 . Disconnect the iPhone from the computer and connect to a charger (yes it is )
    3. In the menu settings / general click Reset
    4. Choose Reset Content and Settings and confirm
5 . Wait for two hours ( two hours really believe me ) needed to cancel all the aircraft.
    6. Reconnect the phone to your computer
7 . Use the previous backup to restore it to its previous state. (If you can not do : press Home + Power, as soon as the iPhone wakes keep pressing on releasing Home Power, you will see a USB cable and iTunes on your iPhone).

I tested the GPS of the iPhone 3G goes taf Monday morning. GPS is an option that I've been waiting a while. In addition we have the right to an A -GPS and not a GPS . The A- GPS can locate the phone within seconds of sending data to a GSM server that supports the position- unlike GPS which only tries to locate the satellites , a method much slower .

nce you start Maps, you're instantly geolocated with the GSM network. The iPhone will then send the info to satellites that you are in , the very most, 15 seconds very accurately. In general, it is even more 10 seconds. A Caution for the train. Directorate station valleys just outside of Colombo . The GPS locates me on track. I do not catch on the dock but is slightly more accurate.

I also tested the GPS in the train . Yes I know, the GPS in the train is not very useful ; ) but it is a transilien on short trips and therefore not a high speed is almost identical to a car. iPhone 3G Test GPS. Just after the train has started , the GPS locates me in a building whereas normally I'm on the red dot. Arrived Becon station , the train stopped , I am the door of the car which is open and the GPS locates me in the street above (red dot).

The results are still to be qualified . I give my opinion on the GPS of the iPhone but I can not compare it to other GPS systems because I 've never tested any other .Apple / Google did not claim to be as accurate as Tomtom , this is not their job . For its solution GPS , TomTom has certainly powerful algorithm for calculating position and correction of positioning that Google / Apple probably do not .We will make it much easier to compare when TomTom releases its browser on the iPhone that I would hasten to buy and you test it.
